Iowa To Receive $174-Million In Nationwide Opioid Settlement

(Undated) -- The State of Iowa is set to receive $174-million in a nationwide opioid settlement. Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller announced Friday morning the money will go to state and local governments over an 18-year period. Iowa is one of 52 states and territories involved in the $26-billion settlement with three drug distributors. The money is expected to start going out in the spring.
