(Des Moines, Iowa) -- Four of the six suspects charged in the fatal shooting outside Des Moines' East High School will appear in court next week.

Preliminary hearings for the four suspects, 17 year-olds Octavio Lopez and Henry Valladares-Amaya, as well as 16 year-olds, Manuel Buezo and Romero Perdomo, are scheduled for next Friday, March 18th.

All four are being charged as adults, and Polk County Attorney John Sarcone says the two remaining suspects,15 year-old Alex Perdomo and 14 year-old Nyang Chamdual, will be initially charged in juvenile court, but could eventually be charged as adults as well. Sarcone says that's a long process if it does move forward.

15 year-old Jose David Lopez was killed in the shooting, and two others were injured. The Des Moines Police Department says the fatal shooting involved members of a gang.
