(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) -- A celebration to honor the Kirkwood College's national champion women's basketball team is scheduled for next week.
The Eagles' 49-44 win over Morton on March 19th was the programs 8th NJCAA national championship. Head Coach Kim Muhl was named NJCAA Coach of the Year, and three players were picked for the All-Tournament Team. Kirkwood College will host the celebration on campus at Johnson Hall at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 7th.
