(Sheffield, Iowa) -- A northern Iowa high school athletic director resigns after admitting to sending an inappropriate text to a student.
Alex Brayton resigned his position as the athletic director of the West Fork Community School District Thursday night. Brayton had been on administrative leave as the district conducted an investigation into the incident.
He had worked for the school district since 2009.
