Omaha Police Investigate Shooting

Omaha Police say a person suffered a non-life threatening wound in a shooting near 24th and Lake Streets.

Police say officers were called to the Elks Lodge Tuesday evening and found 49-year old Daniel Crumpton on the floor with a gunshot wound.

They say Crumpton had been shot by an unknown suspect in front of the building during a disturbance.

Omaha Fire paramedics took Crumpton to a hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.
