Iowa's 'First in the Nation' status for Presidential elections is under threat following a rule change by the Democrats.

The Democratic National Committee’s by-laws committee approved major changes this week which means if Iowa wants to be first, the State will have to apply along with all other States that want the role.

“Iowa will absolutely be applying to be in the early window and we will look forward to enthusiastically making our case…It’s critical that Iowa continue to have a voice in the Presidential nominating process so that candidates can meaningfully connect with a grassroots infrastructure that includes working families and a diversifying rural America,” said Iowa's Dem Chair Ross Wilburn in a statement.

Republicans so far seem secure in their first place position especially as former President Trump has repeatedly said Iowa should be first.

How about you? Do you care that the Dems might be finished with Iowa as 'First in the Nation"?
