Nebraska Senator Among Lawmakers In Taiwan Angering Beijing

China quickly reacts to six U.S. lawmakers arriving at Taipei Sonshan Airport in Taiwan.

It conducted military drills today around the island after warning against a U.S. visit, which includes Nebraska Republican U.S. Senator Ben Sasse.

They met with Taiwan's President, referring to Taiwan as a country.

China has long asserted it's a breakaway province.
