(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines police say they are investigating a shooting that left one injured. The shooting happened Saturday afternoon near Meredith Middle School just before seven. Police say the shooting was close to the intersection of Madison Avenue and 47th Street. One person was taken to the hospital with what police say are not life-threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.
