(Ames, IA) -- Iowa State point guard Tyrese Hunter is transferring schools. Hunter announced on Twitter today he's entering the transfer portal. As a freshman last season he averaged 11 points and 4.9 assists per game while helping lead the Cyclones to the Sweet 16. He also broke the Cyclones' single-season record for assists and steals by a freshman.
