(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Police in Cedar Rapids are investigating a body that was found in the middle of the road early Monday morning.
Reports on social media say multiple squad cars were seen near 12th Avenue SW between Wiley and Edgewood looking into a shooting.
Update: Police say gunshots were reported around 3:15 a.m. near 12th Avenue SW and Auburn Drive SW. When they arrived they found 36-year-old Dustin Frondle, who had been shot in the chest.
Crews started CPR, but Frondle was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
