(Omaha, NE) -- A new Youth Emergency Services headquarters will be built in Omaha. The Omaha City Council has approved a plan that would allow the non-profit to use the old Omaha Housing Authority administrative building near 27th Street and St. Mary’s Avenue and turn it into a four-story apartment building. The building will cost about $22-million and will be able to house dozens of young adults at a time.
