(Ames, IA) -- An investigation is underway after a man's shot and killed at an apartment complex in Ames. Police say gunshots were heard at an apartment complex at 3021 Regency Court around 4:40 a.m. today and a man was found shot to death outside minutes later. Police say they're investigating the shooting as a homicide but they say there's no threat to the public. No arrests have been made.
