Law Enforcement Looks For Lincoln Inmate

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reports a missing inmate in Lincoln.

They say 30-year-old James Crihfield was reported missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln Wednesday night.

Investigators say an alert indicates Crihfield removed his electronic monitoring device after being granted permission for a personal furlough to a hospital.

Crihfield started his sentence on July 14th, 2021.

He was sentenced to three years and seven months on numerous charges of theft by deception and second degree forgery out of Lancaster County.

He has a tentative release date of October 11th, 2022.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement or the Nebraska State Patrol.
