(Davenport, IA) -- A man's dead after an officer-involved shooting in Davenport. Police say they were called to the Casey's at 1691 West 53rd Street around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday to check on a suspicious man where they came into contact with someone with outstanding warrants. Police say they tried to arrest the man but he got into a fight with an officer, which led to the officer and the man shooting at each other. The suspect was shot and died at the hospital while the officer suffered non-life threatening injuries. The officer is on administrative leave while the case is being investigated.
