Ole Miss Sets Up Long Omaha CWS Stay

In a battle of Southeastern Conference teams played out on the west bank of the Missouri River on a hot, sultry Monday night, Ole Miss scored two runs in each of the first three innings as the Rebels beat Arkansas 13-5 to move to a perfect 2-0 in the College World Series.

25,246 watched the game at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

The Rebels advance to a game Wednesday night against the winner of an Arkansas-Auburn match up to be played today (Tuesday).

That Bracket Two elimination game will be at 6 p.m. CST and will be televised on ESPN.

At one this afternoon, Notre Dame and Texas A and M fight to stay alive in a Bracket One elimination game also to be televised on ESPN.
