Iowa Airports to Receive Grants from U.S. Department Of Transportation

(Undated) -- The U.S. Department of Transportation is granting Iowa $27-million for some of its airport's upgrades. Des Moines International Airport will receive $5-million in grants for its terminal reconstruction. Dubuque Regional nearly $1.5-million, Eastern Iowa Airport will get just over $20-million, and both Washington Municipal and Council Bluffs Municipal Airports will each receive over $110-thousand. The Biden administration is granting almost $1-billion to nearly one-hundred airports for upgrades nationwide.
