Iowa City to Host National Night Out Gatherings

(Iowa City, Iowa) -- Iowa City will host National Night Out events at four locations on Tuesday, August 2nd.

National Night Out is an event designed to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement with the community, as well as community members with each other. Each National Night Out event will feature Iowa City Police, firefighters, prizes, food, and more. The four locations include:

  • Christ the King Church, at 325 Mormon Trek Boulevard from 6:30-8 p.m.
  • Wetherby Park, at 2400 Taylor Drive, from 6-8 p.m.
  • 889 Sugar Loaf Circle, from 6-6:30 p.m.
  • 4149 Kilburnie Court, from 6-8 p.m.
