The new Nebraska State Senator representing northeast Nebraska's Legislative District 19 has been introduced by the Governor and sworn in by the Secretary of State;
Governor Ricketts chooses Norfolk businessman Robert “Rob” Dover to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mike Flood, who was elected to represent Nebraska’s First Congressional District in the U.S. House following the resignation of former Congressman Jeff Fortenberry.
Dover will serve the remainder of the unexpired term for District 19, which runs until January, 2025.
