Three People Found Shot To Death At Maquoketa Campground, Suspect Also Dead

(Maquoketa, IA) -- Four people are dead after a shooting at a campground near Maquoketa. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to Maquoketa Caves State Park on a triple homicide just before 6:30 a.m. where three people were found dead. The sheriff's office says the suspect, Anthony Sherwin, was also found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound west of the park. The Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation is investigating the case and says there's no danger to the public.
