(Iowa) -- Iowa's two U.S. Senators, Republicans Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst, are working together on a bill to increase ethanol use.

Senator Grassley recently introduced the Next Generation Fuels Act, which would increase the amount of ethanol that can be used in fuel supplies and authorize the sale of fuels with higher octane levels. The bill will have to first pass through committee before going before the full U.S. Senate for a vote. The bill has received bipartisan support, including from Democratic Senators Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Tammy Duckworth of Illinois.

The full text of the bill is available online.
