(Dyersville, Iowa) -- The Field of Dreams will not host a Major League Baseball Game in 2023.
Owners of the 1989 movie site say construction on a large expansion to the site will prevent it from hosting the state's third-ever Major League Baseball Game next year.
Field of Dreams Co-Owner Frank Thomas tells the Des Moines Register that the Major League Baseball game could return to the site after construction is complete in 2024.
