New Charge For Omahan Accused Of Two Murders

A man being held in Iowa, who is accused of killing his grandmother and great grandmother in Omaha, is now accused of trying to murder a third person.

Law enforcement says 27-year-old Gage Walter now faces attempted murder in addition to two charges of first-degree murder.

He also now faces three weapons charges.

Investigators say 70 year-old Linda Walter and 93-year-old Marceline Teeters were killed August 13th, and now prosecutors accuse Gage Walter of trying to kill a man on August 12th.

Gage Walter awaits extradition after being arrested following a pursuit that ended with a standoff in Winterset, Iowa on August 14th.
