(Webster County, IA) -- A man facing child sex assault charges in the state of Nevada, has been arrested in Iowa.
Investigators in Las Vegas contact Fort Dodge Police Wednesday about 31-year-old Brett Knutson, whom they believed had fled Nevada and was residing in Fort Dodge. Police executed a search warrant at 130 Country Club Drive and took Knutson into custody without incident. He's facing three counts of sexual assault against a child. Knutson is currently in the Webster county Jail. Bond is set at $75,000.
This investigation was a collaborative effort involving many different agencies to include the Fort Dodge Police Department and the FBI CAT team which consists of members of the Las Vegas FBI, Henderson Police Department, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, North Las Vegas Police Department, and the State of Nevada Parole & Probation Board.
