Man wanted in Omaha murder recaptured after jailbreak

(Omaha, NE) -- You apparently can't get far in a jail break wearing prison stripes, and that tattoo.

A man wanted for murder in Omaha and caught by U.S. Marshalls in Little Rock, Arkansas, escaped jail over the weekend.

The Arkansas Department of Corrections says Wuanya Smith climbed over barbed wire fence, and ran off north down the road. He has a distinctive appearance. Smith was wearing black and white prison stripes, and has the words Death before Dishonor tattooed on his throat.

A multi-agency man hunt recaptured Smith after a few hours.

He's back in jail, awaiting extradition back to Omaha in the murder case of Anthony Collins III in August.
