National Non-Profit Donates Body Armor to Cedar Rapids PD's Canine Officer

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Police Department's Canine Officer is receiving a body armor donation thanks to a donation from a non-profit organization.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is donating the bulletproof and stab-proof vest to the Cedar Rapids Police Department. K9 Officer "Ryder" will receive the vest in 8 to 10 weeks. Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is a nationwide charity that provides protective vests to K9 officers around the country.
