The investigation intensifies today after numerous injuries are reported in a school bus - semi crash in Chase County in the southwest corner of Nebraska.
At least 11 children were on a bus that collided with a loaded semi Tuesday afternoon on Spur 15 Highway between Imperial and Champion.
The driver of the semi was not seriously injured in the crash, which left the bus on its side.
Investigators say some of those injured in the crash were transported to larger hospitals via medical aircraft.
KFAB reporter Ryan Baker at the scene of the crash in Chase County initially reported three rescue squads and two helicopters had arrived, along with some parents.
Ryan Baker says one child was flown to Denver Children's Hospital.
