Omaha Police Accident Investigators say the woman struck by a vehicle Tuesday night at 62nd and Dodge Streets has died.
She is identified by police as 35 -year old Shelby Cherek of Bennington, who was 22 weeks pregnant.
Investigators say she had walked out onto Dodge in a marked crosswalk against a traffic signal when she was hit by a westbound vehicle.
University of Nebraska at Omaha Police carried out C-P-R until she was taken to a hospital with serious head injuries.
