(Omaha, NE) -- Boxer Bud Crawford is bringing his next opponent home to Omaha to fight.

The W-B-O welterweight champion announced this week that he will take on Armenian welterweight contender David Avanesyan. Crawford had been in talks to take on Errol Spence, but those talks reportedly fell through. The undefeated Crawford (38-0, 29 knockouts) last fought in November 2021, knocking out Shawn Porter in the 10th round to retain his WBO title. 34 year old Avanesyan is 29-3-1, winning his last six straight, with 17 knockouts.

The PPV fight between Crawford and Avanesyan will be on December 10th at the C-H-I Health Center Arena.
