The Omaha Police Department in a news release says command leadership is aware of an incident that occurred Sunday possibly involving one of their officers while off-duty.
The release says Police Chief Todd Schmaderer has authorized an internal investigation of the incident.
The officer being investigated has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
