Council Bluffs Holiday Tradition Kicks Off Friday

A Council Bluffs holiday tradition is Friday night.

"Winterfest At Bayliss Park" is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event is at 100 Pearl St. in Council Bluffs, and begins with the Mayor's lighting ceremony.

Santa's Workshop, featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, and real reindeer are among the many family activities to kick off the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year's Holiday Season.

Food trucks and a "Makers Village," a pop-up holiday shop in a heated tent on Pearl Street, will be among the featured activities.
