Davenport Arrest Man Accused of Hitting a Teenager with His Car

(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport Police say one man is in custody after hitting a teenager with his car.

Police say it happened during a confrontation on Monday. Officers responded to reports of the teen being hit by a car at Adams Elementary School a little after 4pm. Police say a fight had broken out between a group of juveniles and 29 year-old Levi Vincent-Freund. Investigators say Vincent-Freund later drove his car and hit a 14 year-old boy. The 14 year-old boy and another teen were taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
