Muscatine Community College Closes Campus Due to Emailed Threat

(Muscatine, IA) -- All buildings at Muscatine Community College will be closed for the rest of the day due to an email that included a threat to the campus.

Campus leaders notified police when the email was received and closed the campus out of caution. The school notified all students and staff and said all buildings have been cleared and will remain closed for the rest of the day. So far, the nature of the threat has not been released, nor if investigators believe the threat is credible. So far, no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
