Northeast Nebraska Quadruple Murder Case Advances In Judiciary

A suspect in a quadruple homicide in northeast Nebraska waives a preliminary hearing in Cedar County Court and is bound over to District Court to stand trial.

42-year-old Jason Jones is scheduled to next appear in court on January 23rd.

Jones is accused of killing four people this past August at two separate homes in Laurel, Nebraska and then settling fire to the residences.

He faces a number of charges of homicide, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and arson in what could be a capital murder case involving the death penalty if there is a conviction.
