Man Charged With Driving Through Omaha Halloween Event Appears In Court

(Omaha, NE) -- The man accused of driving into an Omaha Halloween celebration is having his case sent to district court. Dontavius Levering appeared in court this morning where a judge ordered his trial sent to district court, though a trial date hasn't been set. Levering is accused of driving through a crowd in North Omaha on Halloween night. He didn't hit anyone and was shot three times by a police officer. He remains in custody on $500,000 bond.
