Light pillars in the sky over Eastern Iowa this weekend PHOTOS

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- People in parts of eastern Iowa got an unusual light show over the weekend.

Some called it ice fog, other called it ice pillars.

House lights, Christmas lights, and street lights reflected a hundred feet up into the air, making eerie and beautiful hazy streaks of light high into the sky.

Several reports and photos posted on social media are from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Grafton, and Oelwine
