Man arrested in connection to robbery of Omaha laundromat

(Omaha, NE) -- An arrest is made in connection to a southwest Omaha laundromat robbery.

Omaha Police say 38 year old Jonathan Clausell has been booked into the Douglas County Jail on charges related to multiple incidents at the Anytime Laundry located near 97th and Park Drive. Police say last Wednesday, December 14th, a black male in his 30s, wearing all black, jumped over the counter, said he had a weapon and demanded money. Police say the suspect took cash and fled the scene on foot.

Then on Monday, December 19, 2022 officers were called to the laundromat again to investigate a theft and destruction of property that happened overnight. Investigators say Clausell is suspected in both incidents. Clausell is facing charges of robbery, criminal impersonation, three counts of criminal mischief, three counts of theft, obstructing and a traffic warrant.
