(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids residents kicked off 2023 with a two-mile hike through Palisades-Kepler State Park.
The park was one of many across Iowa to hold an annual First Day Hike to challenge people to start the New Year on a healthy note.
The event featured Bald Eagle watching, hot drinks, and a warming center at the lodge.
