It's a much different story in Central and South-Central Nebraska where some places are seeing close to two feet of snow. The Weather Service says Merna has nearly 24 inches of snow, with 23 inches in Callaway, and Broken Bow sees 19 inches of snow. Closer to I-80, which was closed for a time by snow, Kearney and Grand Island have 10 inches, 14 in Wood River.

Lots of snow also in Western Nebraska, with North Platte getting 13 inches, 12 inches in Ogallala and Sidney. In the Panhandle, Harrisburg gets 18 inches of snow
