Snow Slows Thursday Omaha/Council Bluffs Commute

There are plenty of slick conditions from the latest winter storm, and traffic accidents, including vehicles sliding off the roads, are being reported in the Thursday morning commute in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.

Continued frozen precipitation has increased slick conditions after most of the freeways and major streets were mostly wet in the pre-dawn hours after road crews did their work.

It is very slick on side streets in the Metro area, where snow pack and slush remain.

KFAB "Timesaver Traffic's" Lucy Chapman says be aware of slick conditions with snow build up in intersections and turn lanes.
