(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids Police say one person is hospitalized after a shooting Wednesday evening.
Police received reports of the shooting in the 3200 block of Redbud Road NE around 8pm and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries. So far, the victim's identity has not been released, and no suspects have been identified.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
