(Omaha, NE) -- A suspicious death is under investigation in south Omaha.
Omaha Police say around 3:00 Thursday morning, officers were called to the area of 23rd and Castelar to assist the Omaha Fire Department with a woman, 23 year old Milagros Lopez, who was found down in an alleyway. Investigators say Lopez was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
The Omaha Police Department’s Homicide and Traffic Units are investigating and are now looking for a dark-colored newer model car, possibly a Chrysler 300, that was seen leaving the area around the time of the incident.
