Iowa Democratic Lawmakers To Host Special Hearing On Book Bans

(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa Democratic lawmakers are hosting a special hearing for parents to discuss book bans after GOP lawmakers only heard from people affiliated with the conservative group, Moms for Liberty, at a recent meeting.

Representative Lindsay James says requests to hear from other Iowans at the following meeting were denied.

The Oversight Public Hearing will be held today at 4 p.m. in Room 305 at the state capitol.
