Eleven-Year-Old Student Safe After Running Out Of Omaha Middle School

(Omaha, NE) -- Some tense moments this morning after an eleven-year-old student escapes an Omaha middle school this morning. Police say the student ran out of Norris Middle School at 2235 South 46th Street around 9:20 a.m. The student was missing for almost an hour-and-a-half before being found near South 42nd and Center about two blocks northeast of the school. Police say the student had a Project Lifesaver bracelet on, used to help find kids that wander away from their family.
