(Marion, IA) -- Several buildings in Uptown Marion lost power Monday morning after a contractor hit a power line.
Marion City Hall, Marion Public Library, Vernon Middle School, and some neighboring homes all lost power.
Alliant Energy is on the scene and the City of Marion will update residents when information is available.
