Speaker Grassley: Proposed Abortion Ban Is Not Leadership's Outline

(Des Moines, IA) -- A proposal creating a total abortion ban in Iowa fails to survive last week's funnel.

House Speaker Pat Grassley said the bill was never going anywhere, at least not until the state Supreme Court makes a decision on the fetal heartbeat law.

Grassley says GOP leadership is on the same page, waiting for the high court's decision.
