(Omaha, NE) -- The company that owns a grain silo that a man suffocated in in southern Nebraska last year is facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. OSHA says the CHS center in Roseland where 34-year-old Travis Thelander died in September 2022 failed to follow safety regulations that could've prevented the accident. Thelander became trapped in a silo while cleaning it and was suffocated by corn. OSHA wants the company to pay a $531,000 fine.
