(Iowa) -- Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate says Iowans who receive a "No Activity" notice should respond to it right away.

The notices will come from the Iowa Secretary of States Office, and are being sent out to voters who did not participate in the 2022 general election. Those voters are considered inactive and need to confirm their residential address to be re-activated.

Iowans who receive the notice by mail will need to fill out and return the postcard by mail. Voters who receive a notice addressed to a previous resident of their home can discard the mailing.

You can check your voter registration online at VoterReady.Iowa.gov.
