(Undated) -- This week's U-S Drought Monitor Map shows the entire state of Iowa remains in drought or near-drought condition. Conditions are most dry in the northwest and the southeast. This week's map shows a large part of eastern Iowa has moved from moderate to severe drought. The map does not, however, include the significant rainfall yesterday (Wednesday). Parts of Iowa received between 2-6 inches of welcome rain.
