(Ankeny, IA) -- The Ankeny Public Library is accepting donations for its annual Food for Fines program as of Thursday, November 16th.
The library says residents can donate food, hygiene items, or cash, and in return, the library will waive up to $2 of overdue book fines. The items can be donated at the library's Circulation desk. The library is located at 1250 SW District Drive.
The Food for Fines drive runs during regular library hours through November 30th.
