(Johnson County, IA) -- Johnson County voters will find a 30-million dollar conservation bond on their ballot in November.

Brad Friedhof, Johnson County Conservation Manager, tells Iowa's News Now that the money will allow for protection of water, forests, and wildlife habitat on public lands, and for parks and trails. He says a similar bond measure for $20 million in 2008 funded over 15 conservation projects Johnson County residents now enjoy.

The Board of Supervisors will hold a final vote to put the measure on the ballot today.
